We have a team of qualified and experienced Competent Fire Safety Practitioners, now known as Accredited Practitioners (Fire Safety), who will guide you every step of the way.
Our Competent Fire Safety Practitioner service includes:
- Examination of the Fire Safety Schedule for your building.
- A detailed inspection of the building to compare against the Fire Safety Schedule.
- Examination of the building manuals, documentation and certification held by the building owner.
- Examination of fire safety measure inspection and testing records.
- A Part 15 – Fire safety offences inspection.
- A comprehensive Competent Fire Safety Practitioner’s report detailing the findings of the inspection and investigation.
- Preparation of the Annual Fire Safety Statement on behalf of the building owner.
- Endorsement of the Annual Fire Safety Statement as the building owner’s selected Competent Fire Safety Practitioner.
Our services don’t stop there. Our team can also assist with developing action plans and project management of any required rectification activities, conducting Council record searches and liaising with local Council on behalf of the building owner where required.
Additional Services
Competent Fire Safety Professionals director Chris Honey holds accreditation for fire detection and alarm system design, and our industry network can assist with the design of other relevant fire safety systems.
Under the Environment Planning and Assessment (Development Certification and Fire Safety) Regulation 2021, an Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety) is required when applying to exempt compliance of a relevant fire safety system with the Building Code of Australia.
